If you see a message like "Secure Connection Failed" or "Secure Connection Cannot Be Established" when trying to access a library subscription database, there may be an issue between your antivirus software and the database.  See the following links for troubleshooting steps and advice. The support article "How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites" in particular has specific steps for different antivirus software to follow. 

Before trying anything so technical, however, always first try clearing cookies or use your browser's private browsing mode (which doesn't use previous cookies by default).  A support article with steps on how to do this is also linked to on this page.
