Parenthetical in-text citations are generally the same for all sources: author's last name, a comma, and the publication year.  If citing a direct quote, include the page number if it is provided in the source, for example (Smith, 2004, p. 9). If the page number is not provided, you will use the paragraph number; you may need to count paragraphs to determine the number. Here is an example of an in-text citation using a paragraph number: (Jones, 2001, para. 1).
