To search for peer reviewed articles about how psychology relates to a particular career field, it may be a good idea to initially search the Internet (Google) for trending issues in that field. Then, choose a relevant issue and begin your search at the Library welcome page.
Enter your search words, then select the peer reviewed box and click SEARCH.
For example, you can try searching "forensic psychology" "offender profiling" (be sure to use the quotation marks as shown):
You will then be able to browse the results for sources that fit your needs. The subject terms in the article citations can also be helpful in developing more search terms and phrases.
At any time on the search results page, on the left side of the screen, searches can be refined. This means results can be targeted to more specific dates, subjects, and more:
