Live in North Carolina?  You have access to NC Live, which provides access to a number of databases and electronic sources, some of which the University Library has, but some of which we do not.  This is an especially helpful resource for alumni who live in North Carolina. Access is provided by a consortium of North Carolina libraries, and your local NC public library is a participant. You can access NC Live resources with an ID/password from your public library.  Please contact your library for details.  The link to NC Live is:

More about NC Live from their website's About page:

"NC LIVE is a consortium of North Carolina libraries, providing digital content and services to public and academic libraries statewide. Founded in 1997 by representatives from the NC Community Colleges, the NC Independent Colleges and Universities, the NC Public Library Directors Association, the University of North Carolina and the State Library of North Carolina, NC LIVE serves 200 member libraries across North Carolina, and is dedicated to helping member libraries support education, enhance statewide economic development, and improve the quality of life of their communities.

Designed for at-home use, NC LIVE eBooks, magazines, newspapers, journals, media, and other online materials are available from any Internet connection via library websites, and through www.nclive.org."
