The difficulty with this question is defining a "population." “Populations served” could be just about anything. For example: the homeless, people with mental illness, public or private organizations, those in prison, those in a trial proceeding, the general public, victims of crimes, etc.
Consult with your instructor about this just to be sure you are on the right path.
For a search in the Library, you would then take a population that is served by criminal justice professionals and combine it with a specific job title (or the more broad term of criminal justice professional).
homeless AND police
A sample search for this is below.
Then, scroll through the list until you find ProQuest Central and click on that.
In the search box, type homeless AND police and click on the magnifying glass.
You could also try the same search using the search box on the Library's welcome page. There will be more results if you use that search box, but many may not be related to your topic.
For the final part of the Unit 4 assignment:
• What are the perceptions that society has about the profession?
You can search the Library for:
"public opinion" "criminal justice administration"
