The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which describes many jobs in great detail and includes information about education, training, salary, outlook etc.  Access the web version from the Bureau of Labor Statistics here: https://www.bls.gov/ooh/

 

You can also search information about your career field directly on the Library homepage.
