Most assigned readings or known citations can be found with a title search.
For example, here is a citation for: Palinkas, L. (2014). Qualitative methods in mental health services and implementation research. Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, 43(6), 851–861.
In the search box on the Library homepage, type the article title, qualitative methods in mental health services and implementation research
Be sure to change the drop-down menu on the left of the search box from Keyword to Title. Then click SEARCH. That's it. The item will appear on the results page.
If an article is not found with a title search, a keyword search should retrieve it. Simply type in the article title within quotation marks, then add the author's last name.
For example, here is the citation for: Grant, J. K. (2002). Ethics and law enforcement. FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, 71(12), 11.
To search for this article by keyword, type "ethics and law enforcement" grant
Please note: Sometimes you may see the same citation listed more than once in the search results. That is because the article appears in more than one database.
Don't forget:
Many courses (though not all) have assigned readings linked in the course research guide. To find the guide within your course, click on More Tools, then click the Library link from the menu:
The Library link will open to the course research guide. In the guide, look to the left of the screen. From the SEARCH menu, look for the page labeled Required Readings:
All assigned readings are typically organized by unit/module.
