First, it may be helpful to search within chapter 6 of the course textbook.
To search for Library resources, select ProQuest from the All Databases A-Z link.

You will probably need to search each strategy separately in quotation marks. For example:
  • "preventative patrol"
  • "routine incident response"
  • "emergency response"
  • "criminal investigation"
  • "problem-solving"

You can also add additional phrases such as "criminal justice" OR "law enforcement" OR police, and mix and match them in any way you want.

For example:
  • "routine incident response" "criminal justice"
  • "emergency response" "law enforcement"
  • "problem-solving" police

You can also try searching any of these suggestions on the Library homepage to broaden your search results.
